What to expect from Alpha version
What is the Alpha version
The Alpha version of the software is an early release that may contain bugs or malfunctions and has not been fully tested yet.
In the Alpha stage you can expect:
- Some features may have bugs.
- Some calculations may be incorrect; reports can show wrong information.
- Features and the user interface may undergo minor or major changes.
Registration
You can register for the service and test it free of charge.
After registration you will be placed on the free test plan.
The test period is undefined and may be unlimited during the Alpha stage.
Your data is not safe (yet)
This statement is NOT about theft or loss. We are working hard on security, and protecting your data is our top priority.
What we mean is that while the project is in the Alpha stage, we make significant changes to the database schema and project architecture. It would be unreasonably difficult and time-consuming to preserve and migrate your data from release to release. Because of this, we have decided not to spend effort on data migration so we can keep development agile.
At some point the version of the car shop management system you use will be fully replaced. This means that any data you enter into the system will be erased.
This will occur whenever we update the car management system to a new version or when we release the fully tested program.
Answers to common questions about the Alpha stage of our vehicle workshop management system
When will my data be erased?
There is no fixed time or period. We will perform data resets whenever a new stable update is ready.
Can I save the data I entered to the car repair shop system during the Alpha stage?
No. Your data will be erased when we deploy updates.
Can I continue using the car service management system after the Alpha stage ends?
We wouldn't call it 'continue'. You will need to register your car repair shop company again and re-enter your data. Then you'll pass the free test period and then be migrated to a paid plan.
What will the prices be?
From €5 per month. More details will be announced later.
If you delete my data, why should I register in your auto service management system?
You can test the features and send us your feedback if you wish.
Early adopters will receive special bonuses when we release the fully tested program.
